Silhouette Brings PULSE to Its Iconic Rimless Eyewear
Introduced in 1999, Silhouette’s Titan Minimal Art has maintained its position as the lightest eyewear in the world at just 1.8 grams. Featuring screwless and hingeless construction, the Austrian-made eyewear has accompanied 35 NASA missions and has won countless design awards. In a campaign alongside creative director and fashion influencer Paula Goldstein, Silhouette takes the opportunity to update its legacy with brand new PULSE styling.
Twelve modern and exaggerated shapes bring bold personality to the sphere of rimless eyewear, including teardrop-cornered rectangles, cat eyes, and large circular options. For the first time, coloured highlights on the temple tips and lens attachment plugs add curiosity to Titan Minimal Art’s simplicity. Subtle pops in hues such as green melon and orange mango remain versatile enough to accompany the loudest of outfits.
Though the collection reflects urban nomadic culture that paves towards the future of personal expression, Silhouette is careful not to abandon its years of innovation and attention to detail. A 260 step handmade process lends itself to comfortable and flexible yet robust titanium temples. As with all of the designer’s collections, lens shapes and colourways are entirely interchangeable for mixing and matching.
A 2016 Red Dot Product Design Award winner for its stylish application of minimalism with workforce functionality, Titan Minimal Art PULSE eyewear is available at authorized Silhouette retailer Klein Optical.
